هي فنلندا احى الدول الاسكندنافية وفيها حوالي 70000 بحيرة وقد حصلت فنلندا على استقلالها سنة 1917م وكانت تابعة لروسيا وقبل للسويد، يبلغ عدد سكانها 5مليون نسمة ومساحتها 332 الف كم مربع، لغتها الفنلندية والحكم فيها جمهوري.
